Zapier

What is Zapier?

Zapier allows you to integrate multiple online applications, with more than 40,000 apps in their system.

Most major software can be automated with Zapier, here are some examples:

  • Mailchimp
  • Google Docs
  • Gmail
  • Salesforce

Considering the following form of automation:

  1. User signs up to your Mailchimp email list using a form.
  2. Because they have a certain box checked, their inputs go into a Google Docs file.
  3. Administrators are notified with an email being sent through Gmail.
  4. The user’s information is added to Salesforce.

There are endless possibilities with Zapier. However, their free plan is limited to single-step automation, with a monthly limit on number of API calls.
